is back on line, not looking so pretty but I am preparing for my website.

Remember the Christmas Market which is from the 25th Nov to 28th Nov.

Ollerina.com is currently offline :-( as Ian (my partner) has switched my typepad account to typepad micro as I haven't been using as often and is wasting a bit of money, unfortunately that means a lot of my image links are broken on the blog and it also means you can't get to the blog via ollerina.com, i am in the process of fixing this - but soon i will have a proper website - yay which ollerina.com will point to. Anyhoo to access the blog you can go here http://ollerina.typepad.co.uk/ollerinacom/ 

Another date for the diary is the 25th - 28th November, its the Christmas Market and I have got Ian selling my work again. It will be based next to the Triangle by the Big Wheel, drop by to cheer Ian up in the cold weather and get him a coffee and croissant.

Upcoming dates for the diary

I will be doing a couple of stalls this summer where you can come and take a look at my artwork...

I will be at the Chorlton Art Festival, St Clements church in Chorlton on the 22nd may with prints, cards, badges etc. It's also a lovely day out especially if you have kids. Last year they had a little cinema show, the highlight of which for Ollie was when the curtain fell down half way between the show.

I will also be having a stall at the Manchester art market selling cards, prints and original art work, St Ann's square, June 25-26th 10 till 5.30.

... Rebel Books are bringing out Miserable Middles, A fairy tale book. Here are the illustrations I have done for it.

MISERABLE MIDDLES by Phoebe Penhalligan and Boo Irwin. Illustrations by Karen Hurd. 

A collection of tales from the Underworld Kingdom including "A Miserable Middle", "The Bloody Ballad", "The Petrified Prince" and others inspired by the recent debate over unhappy endings in children's fiction. The beautiful cover illustration has been designed by Karen Hurd. This collection of tales may sometimes have a miserable middle but they all end happily, well kind of!

The Fairy Float coloured in!

This is the painted version on my black and white drawing, The Fairy Float, it goes with The Pixie Parade as a series. I have a few more to do to complete the carnival.

Chorlton Arts Festival Christmas Craft Market.

 Next Saturday I will be at the Chorlton Arts Festival Christmas Craft Market.

There will be toys, jewelery, artwork, cards, decorations, cakes & much more. If it is anything like the craft fair the Arts Festival have in the summer it will be full of some impressive talent!

It's at St Clements Church and starts at 11am till 4pm Saturday 28th of November.
